HELLO

Zeer (Clarence) Liu works across jewellery, glass, and bodily adornments, weaving together craft, fast-fashion, and pop choreography. His practice centers on the subtle emotional shifts that unfold between people, translating these fleeting moments of connection into tactile, wearable forms that explore relationships, perception, and the self.

He graduated from the Honour Bachelor of Crafts and Design program at Sheridan College in 2022 and earned the MFA program at Alberta University of the Arts in 2025. In the summer of 2024, he joined the Material Matters Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as a guest artist, participating in an self-directed study course. He is currently based in Hong Kong, where he works with the bespoke soft-furnishing brand JYDesign.
